Fetch! is a user-friendly software utility developed to offer you the ability of viewing the latest files you have created or opened, allowing you to access them just by double-clicking on the corresponding entry in the main window.



Subsequent to a brief installation process with no noteworthy events, you can launch the application and start working with it, as it is fairly approachable regardless of your level of experience with similar tools.



It features quite a simple and clean interface, whose background mimics your default Windows color, or uses the transparent Aero appearance, if your computer runs Windows 7. Fetch! can run minimized to the corner of your screen, not the system tray.



The main window of Fetch! lists all of the recently opened or created files, under various categories, in accordance with their format. As such, all the items you work with are neatly grouped, enabling you to quickly find the one you need, without too much effort.



The available categories are 'Documents', 'Plain Text', 'Excel', 'Imagery', 'Video', 'Audio', 'Compressed', 'PowerPoint', '3D Modeling', 'Db Dev' and 'Oracle', allowing you to click on the corresponding header to view the items listed under it.



However, you do not have the option to display all files, regardless of their type, in the same window. Double-clicking an entry will open it in your default software, while from the context menu, you can access its containing folder, remove it or ignore it in the future.



From the 'Setup' section, you can decide which file types to include in the monitoring process and the number of entries that can be displayed. Similarly, you can choose which items to exclude, along with the targeted local drives, and even custom folder paths.
